RAVI SHANKER JHA, CHIEF JUSTICE (ORAL) This is an application under Section 11 (6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short, `the Act') filed by the applicant seeking appointment of an Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes between the parties in terms of Clause 25 (v) of the agreement dated 30.12.2016 entered into between the parties, as in spite of a notice being issued by the applicant to the respondent on 08.06.2019, no Arbitrator has been appointed. On 24.03.2023, this Court proposed to appoint Justice Tejinder Singh Dhindsa, a former Judge of this Court, as sole Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes between the parties. Necessary declaration, as required under Section 12 (5) of the Act, has been received. In these circumstances, Justice Tejinder Singh Dhindsa, a former Judge of this Court, is appointed as sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties.

Application stands disposed of.
