***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr. P.C.')for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.162 dated 06.06.2023, registered under Section420 and 120-Bof Indian Penal Code,1860 at Police Station, City Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran. 2.

Status report by way of affidavit of Tarsem Masih, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Tarn Taran on behalf of respondent-State of Punjab has been tendered in course of hearing, which is taken on record. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to earlier order dated 14.07.2023 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State counsel per his instructions from ASI Prabhjeet Singh submits that petitioner has joined investigation and in view of cooperation rendered by him, no custodial interrogation of petitioner is required. 5.

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of petitioner is no more required and he has already joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, present petition is allowed. Order dated 14.07.2023granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
