3. Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? --- Surya Kant, J. (Oral) The first petitioner is the grand-mother while petitioner Nos.2& 3 are her minor grand-sons. Their grievance is that there exists a public street abutting the houses of petitioners as well the private respondents. It is alleged that taking undue advantage of the fact that the first petitioner is an old woman and her son, namely, father of petitioner Nos.2 & 3 is settled in Australia, the private respondents encroached upon a substantial part of the public street and have started raising construction thereon. The above-stated allegation has been supported with the aid of certain photographs brought on record. Petitioner No.1 is said to have made a complaintcum-representation to the authorities but finding no response that the instant writ petition has been filed. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and considering the nature of relief sought by them as well as MOHINDER KUMAR 2015.03.03 12:12 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No.2215 of 2015 [2] the urgency involved, but without expressing any views on merits as the private respondents have not been heard at this stage, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra; Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra as well as the B.D.P.O. of the area concerned, to verify the petitioners' allegations and take necessary steps in accordance with law, if need be. The Station House Officer, Ladwa, District Kurukshetra shall further verify the petitioners' allegations regarding apprehension to their life and liberty. Let the needful be done within a period of two months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.
