Learned counsel submits that the petitioners have been working on different posts such as Mali, Chowkidar/Baildar in Punjab Forest Department since 1999-2001, however their services have not been regularized and the case is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in Amrish Sharma and others vs. State of Punjab and others, CWP-192382013, decided on 26.02.2024, Annexure P-4, against which LPA was also dismissed on 16.05.2025, with regard to which a representation dated 01.02.2025, Annexure P-3, has been submitted, which has yet not evoked any response. He, on instructions, prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, keeping in view the aforesaid judgment, to which learned State counsel has no objection. 2.
In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation 01.02.2025, Annexure P-3, taking note of the aforesaid judgment, within a period of 6 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
