The petitioner by way of present writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia has sought a writ of Mandamus for terminating the Licence of respondents No. 8 and 9-Ansal Lotus Melange Project Pvt. Ltd. and also for initiation of proceedings against them.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in CWP14898-2016, ( Orchard County - 1 Residents Welfare Association, Sector 115, Mohali Versus The State of Punjab and others) decided on 28.07.2016, this Court had already directed the Competent Authority to decide the legal notice of the petitioner, in accordance with law by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and concerned respondents No. 8 to 10 therein, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. It was further submitted that in such a situation, he may be allowed to withdraw the instant petition as the petitioner can also participate before the Rishu Kataria 2016.11.16 11:14 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
