*** JASWANT SINGH, J.(ORAL) Petitioner No.1 is working as Medical Officer and posted as District T.B Officer, Office of Civil Surgeon District Ferozepur whereas petitioner No.2 is serving as Veterinary Officer, Civil Veterinary Hospital, Uggi, Tehsil Nakodar, District Jalandhar. By filing this writ petition, they invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution seeking a writ of Certiorari quashing for setting aside the result of the screening test (P.8) for the post of Punjab Civil Services (Executive Branch) which includes the names of the private respondents. On 11.11.2014, this Court, at the request of learned counsel for the petitioners, adjourned the matter sine die for the purpose of placing on record the service rules applicable to the respondents. Today, this case has been put up by the Registry for hearing. Learned counsel for the petitioner has informed this Court that despite the petitioner being intimated, he is not coming forward to provide him the concerned Rules and, therefore, the petition may be dismissed in default.

Ordered accordingly.
