Present writ petition for issuance of directions to the respondents to release the arrears due to the petitioner on account of first MACP Scale as per the Scheme along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner is otherwise eligible to draw the arrears on account of first MACP Scale but the same has not been released till now, despite such a long delay. He further contended that legal notice dated 13.11.2017 (Annexure P1) was issued, at the instance of petitioner, but the same also remained unattended. Notice of motion.

Civil Writ Petition No. 16020 of 2018 release of MACP and for that purpose, legal notice dated 13.11.2017 (Annexure P1) was issued, at the instance of petitioner, which is still pending with the respondents, present writ petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to take decision on the above mentioned legal notice by passing a speaking order expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
