The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for directing the respondents to release the arrears of salary, dearness allowance and all other consequential allowances and benefit to the petitioner along with delayed interest. 2.

Learned State counsel has placed reliance on the reply by way of affidavit dated 10.10.2022 of Dr. Avnish Kumar, Director, Research and Medical Education, Punjab, to contend that the relief as sought in the present writ petition, had been granted, pursuant to directions passed by this Court on 13.09.2022, rendering the present writ petition infructuous. 3.

Ordered accordingly. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the department, if need arises.
