Present petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been initiated for issuing directions to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 20.03.2015 (Annexure P5), made by the petitioner, by passing a speaking order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner was appointed as Court Manager and was working as such at District Courts, Mansa and then remained posted at Faridkot. He further contended that during that period, petitioner had applied for grant of maternity leave with effect from 14.10.2013 to 11.04.2014, but the same had been granted without pay, whereas other Court Managers, posted at different District Courts in the State of Punjab, are being granted maternity leave with pay. In this regard, petitioner made representation dated 20.03.2015 (Annexure P5) to respondent No.2 which remained undecided till now.
