This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 129, dated 14th October, 2020 under Sections 22 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Sadar, Kotkapura, District Faridkot.

This Court vide order dated 27th October, 2020 directed the petitioner to appear before the Arresting Officer and make himself available for interrogation as and when required.

Today, Ms. Rashmi Attri, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required.

In view of statement made, the interim bail granted to the petitioner is made absolute.

Disposed of.
