*** MANOJ BAJAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.51 dated 28.03.2019, under Section 379-B(2) IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station Model Town, District Ludhiana. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that FIR was registered for the offence under Section 379-B(2) IPC, subsequently, offences punishable under Sections 394, 397, 450 and 177 IPC have been added.

A perusal of the FIR reveals that the ingredients to constitute the newly added offences were present when the FIR was recorded, however, the same have been added later on. It is pointed out by the learned State Counsel that challan was filed and thereafter charges were framed. Considering the allegations against the petitioner and the stage of the trial, this Court is not inclined to grant the concession of regular bail at this stage.

Dismissed.
