The petitioner by way of this Writ Petition has prayed for issuance of a Writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of the impugned selection list dated 29.08.2014 (Annexure P-4). 2.

It is noticed that the advertisement was for filling up the post of Lecturers on contract basis.

Learned counsel for respondents submits that since the appointments were on contract basis, the reservation Policy was not applied and the corrigendum to the advertisement was issued whereafter the selection was done. The petitioner does not fall in the merit in the general category. The posts for reserved category (BC) were not earmarked in terms of the corrigendum. There is no challenge to the corrigendum. I have considered the submissions and find that there is no challenge to the corrigendum. Moreover, in respect of a contractual post, no right can be claimed. In view thereof, the Writ Petition is devoid of merit and the same is dismissed.
