RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

The prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 for taking action on the representation filed by the petitioner and for further directing respondent No.2 to take legal action against respondent Nos.2 and 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he restricts his prayer for deciding the representation against the private respondents only and not against the official respondents.

Issue notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.M.S.Nagra, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. In view of the facts and the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, i.e. the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, to look into the representation/complaint, dated 15.06.2021, Annexure P-2, and decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law and preferably within one month from today.
