He has apprised the Court that the appeal against the conviction of the petitioner is pending before the Appellate Court and is fixed for tomorrow. It is also pointed out that the applications for compounding of the offence is also pending before the Appellate Court.

Since the issue of compounding the offence is pending before the Appellate Court, he does not press this petition at this stage. Dismissed as withdrawn.
