It is contended that retiral benefits due to petitioner's father - Gurbaksh Singh (since deceased) have been released on old pay-scales whereas, they should have been released on the basis of revised pay-scale w.e.f. 01.01.2006 to 31.08.2008. It is submitted that despite legal notice dated 31.08.2015 (Annexure P1), no action is being taken by the authorities. It is prayed that legal notice served upon the respondents be ordered to be decided expeditiously and necessary relief be afforded accordingly. CWP No.22480 of 2015 [2] arguments, the facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the controversy, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority, to expeditiously decide legal notice dated 31.08.2015 (Annexure P1) submitted by the petitioner by passing a speaking order thereon, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
