(Oral) The challenge in the present writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is to the orders passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal (in short 'CAT'), Chandigarh Bench, in CP No.060/00098/2016 in OA No.060/00548/2015, titled as, "Jaswinder Kaur Vs. Tajender Singh Luthra, IPS", dated 14.09.2016 (Annexure P-1) and 29.09.2016, appended as Annexures P-1 & P-2, respectively, vide which, Inspector General, UT, Chandigarh was directed to present before the CAT on 17.10.2016. 2.

An affidavit of the petitioner has been produced in Court today, wherein, it was affirmed that the payment of arrears of family pension w.e.f. 17th March, 2014 has been credited in the Savings Bank A/c No.33791431259, favouring Jaswinder Kaur w/o late Sohan Singh i.e. Respondent No.2, on 21st October, 2016, in terms of order dated 14th December, 2015, passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal (in short 'the CAT'). The affidavit is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.

In view of the aforesaid fact, the personal appearance of the petitioner before the CAT is exempted and accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
