Present petition under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India is challenge to order dated 23.05.2015 (Annexure P9), whereby appointment letter dated 31.10.2014, issued by respondent No.3 was cancelled on the ground that petitioner was allotted to Central Reserve Police Force on the vacancies of State of Jammu & Kashmir, but he belongs to State of Rajasthan.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner has disclosed all the facts right from the beginning and there is no reason for cancellation of his appointment as he has already covered all the stages and he is, otherwise, qualified.
However, in view of the stand taken by respondent No.3 in letter dated 23.05.2015 (Annexure P9), the vacancies were for the State of Jammu and Kashmir, but petitioner belongs to State of Rajasthan and Deepak Kumar Bhardwaj 2018.07.10 13:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
Civil Writ Petition No. 16273 of 2018 respondent No.3 was justified in cancelling the appointment of petitioner. There is no illegality in the impugned order dated 23.05.2015 (Annexure P9), which is under challenge in the present writ petition. Thus, the present petition stands dismissed.
