ARUN PALLI, J. (ORAL) The petitioner prays for a direction to the respondents to consider her claim for promotion from Assistant Professor (Stage-3), to the post of Associate Professor (Stage-4), under the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS). She purports to have repeatedly represented the respondents in this regard, but to no avail. Even the representations, dated 31.10.2017 (Annexure P-10) and 29.12.2017 (Annexure P-11), have failed to evoke any response.

That being so, the petition is disposed of at this stage, only with a direction to respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to consider and decide the claim/grievance of the petitioner as also the representations, as indicated above, within a period of six weeks from the receipt of a certified copy of this order. And, pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. In the event the claim of the petitioner is declined, the respondent authorities shall pass a comprehensive order assigning reasons in support thereof.
