(Oral) In continuation of the orders passed by this Court from time to time including the previous order dated 24.03.2015, Mr.Amit Jhanji, learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record a copy of the order dated 23.04.2015 whereby Standing Selection Committee headed by Dr.B.K.Sharma, former Director, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh has been constituted. He has also handed-over a copy of the order dated 18.05.2015 indicating that the Standing Selection Committee has fixed its meeting on 04.07.2015 to review the cases of the respondents under Assessment Promotion Scheme.

CWP No.25771 of 2013 [2] Learned counsel for the respondents fairly states that they have no objection against composition of the Standing Selection Committee.

In this view of the matter, we dispose of this writ petition as infructuous but with a clarificatory direction that in the event of approval of promotions of the respondents under the Assessment Promotion Scheme by the Standing Selection Committee, the petitioner-authorities shall ensure that their seniority and further promotion remain un-effected. Ordered accordingly.
