CHANDIGARH CRM-M-34375 of 2020 (O&M) DATE OF DECISION: 11.11.2020 Paramjit Singh alias Pamma .... Petitioner.

Vs.

State of Punjab & Another .....Respondents CORAM:- HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ALKA SARIN

Present:

Mr. B.S. Bhalla, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Sarabjit Singh Cheema, AAG, Punjab.

Mr. Vishavjeet Singh Rishi, Advocate, for the complainant.

ALKA SARIN, J (Oral) Heard through Video Conferencing.

The present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'CrPC') for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.210 dated 17.08.2019 under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 448, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station City Moga, District Moga. Learned counsel for the petitioner has, at the outset, submitted that the parties have since settled their disputes and have amicably resolved all the differences. Further the offences are triable by the Magistrate. Mr. Vishavjeet Singh Rishi, Advocate/complainant in the present case has appeared on his own behalf and that of his brother Vikramjeet Singh and has stated that though the parties have decided to amicably resolve the matter however certain conditions still need to be fulfilled. However, at this stage, he has no objection in case the petitioner is released on regular bail. TRIPTI SAINI 2020.11.12 11:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-34375 of 2020 (O&M) -2- In view of the above, without adverting to the merits of the case and the fact that the trial is unlikely to conclude in the near future, I deem it to be a fit case for grant of concession of regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing adequate bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Illaqa Magistrate/Duty Magistrate/Trial Court concerned. Disposed off.

It is, however, made clear that any observation made herein shall not be taken as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case. November 11, 2020 (ALKA SARIN) tripti JUDGE NOTE:
