  The matter has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to outbreak of COVID-19.

Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.758 dated 11.10.2020 registered under Section 25 of Arms Act and Section 285 of IPC which was later replaced by Sections 307 and 387 of IPC, at Police Station City Jagadhri, District Yamuna Nagar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to order dated 17.12.2020 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned State counsel does not dispute the aforesaid fact and states that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required at this stage.

          Since the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required, present petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide dated 17.12.2020 is made absolute.

However, if required, the petitioner shall continue to join investigation as and when required to do so and shall abide by the terms and conditions, as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
