Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a subsequent clarification dated 15.10.2015 has been issued by the Government of Punjab clarifying that notification dated 15.01.2015 (Annexure P8) would not be applicable in the cases where the process for filling up the posts in question was started prior to the issuance of abovementioned instructions. In the present case, selection process started prior to the issuance of notification dated 15.01.2015. Clarification dated 15.10.2015 came to light after filing of this writ petition. Therefore, it is submitted that the petitioner be permitted to withdraw OMKAR SINGH 2015.10.29 17:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No.22625 of 2015 [2] this writ petition at this stage with liberty to represent to the authorities on the basis of subsequent clarification dated 15.10.2015. In view of the above, present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.

In case a representation is submitted within two weeks from today, competent authority shall consider and decide the same expeditiously preferably within a period of one month thereafter.
