PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) By way of present petition, the petitioner seeks directions for transfer of investigation qua FIR No.0069 dated 29th August, 2019 registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Annexure P-1) at Police Station Balachour, District S.B.S. Nagar, to CBI or some Senior Police Officer.

Ms. Amarjit Kaur Khurana, Dy. Advocate General, Punjab on advance notice appears and on instructions from ASI Parveen Kumari, submits that cancellation report was prepared and filed before the Trial Court on 28th October, 2020.

Faced with this situation, Ld. Counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to raise all pleas available to the petitioner, before the Trial Court.
