Mr. Sukhdeep Parmar, Advocate for the petitioners **** SURYA KANT, J. (Oral) (1) The Gram Panchayat elections are scheduled to be held on 10.01.2016. The petitioner has a grievance against acceptance of the nomination of respondent No.4 for contesting that election. (2) As the time has already run out, it is not expedient for this Court to interfere with the election process at this stage except to observe that the petitioner and/or any other aggrieved person(s) shall be well within his/her right to raise such a plea in the Election Petition, if so filed.
(3) We have no reason to doubt that owing to the tenure of the elected representative, the Election Tribunal shall decide such petition expeditiously.
(4) Ordered accordingly.
