G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to make payment of revised gratuity to the extent of `24,949 and sum of `59,094/- as leave encashment of 30 days. It is the case of the petitioner that he had retired on 31.07.2013 as a Lecturer in English and got her retiral dues except the ones above mentioned on 07.10.2014 (Annexure P-1). Counsel submits that thereafter legal notice dated 23.04.2015 (Annexure P-3) has been served upon respondent no. 2 claiming the above said amount but no action has been taken on the same in spite of period of almost 6 months having expired. Counsel submits that he would be satisfied at this stage if a direction is issued to the respondents to take a decision on the said legal notice within a time bound frame.

Accordingly, keeping in view the limited relief sought, this Court does not feel necessary to call upon the respondents to file reply. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 2 to take into consideration the legal notice dated 23.04.2015 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
