Mr. Vivek Sharma, Advocate for the petitioners. JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The three petitioners were appointed as Math Masters in the year 1998 in compliance to their selection in December 1996 pursuant to Advertisement in 1994.

It is submitted that the Department has generalized the date of fixation of pay and seniority of all the appointees pursuant to the aforesaid Advertisement w.e.f 01.01.1997. It is averred that the juniors in the said selection must have been extended the benefit of such pay fixation w.e.f 01.01.1997, however, the benefit of such fixation has not been extended to the present three petitioners.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that his clients would be satisfied if the respondents are directed to decide the claim of the petitioners as set out in the legal notice (P5) within a time frame.

CWP No.21737 of 2016 (O&M) #2# The prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners being reasonable is accepted.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to consider and decide the claim set up in the legal notice (P5) by passing a speaking order as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to say that admissible benefits shall be released within a period of one month thereafter.
