(Oral) The prayer in the petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.85 dated 30.04.2024 under Sections 18-B/29-61-85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Sections 201, 120-B of IPC, 1860 added later on) registered at Police Station Pillukhera, District Jind. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 12.06.2025 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation.
The learned State Counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined investigation in terms of order dated 12.06.2025 and is not required for custodial interrogation.
In this view of the matter, interim order dated 12.06.2025 is made absolute.
