*** Harsimran Singh Sethi, J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with a prayer that a detenue namely, Suraj, son of Tilak Ram is being held at the brick kiln against his wishes and a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to get the said detenue released.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that a representation to the District Magistrate, Rohtak has already been filed on 23.10.2020 (Annexure P/1), which is still pending consideration with respondent No.2 and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction be given to respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Rohtak to decide the said representation in a time bound manner by passing an appropriate speaking order.

Learned State counsel raises no objection for deciding the representation dated 23.10.2020 (Annexure P/1) submitted by the petitioner to respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Rohtak in a time bound manner by passing an appropriate speaking order.

Without making any observation on the merits of the case, a direction is issued to respondent No.2-District Magistrate, Rohtak to take appropriate decision on the representation, which the petitioner alleged to have made on 23.10.2020 (Annexure P-1) within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of.
