Mz.Sudeepti Sharma,DAG Punjab Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Petitioner has been promoted as an Assistant Sub Inspector in the Clerical Cadre in Punjab Police since 14.7.2011. He is stated to be posted as a Head Clerk in the office of SSP Feorzepur till 21.9.2016 when he was transferred to Police Lines,Ferozepur by SSP Ferozepur. The claim of the petitioner is that he has worked to the complete satisfaction of all the SSPs who have assumed office at Ferozepur, however, the present SSP Mr.RK Bakshi has unauthorisedly brought on his own a Reader from his previous place of posting resulting in severe prejudice to the petitioner.

It is claimed that the present SSP has directed many fact finding enquiries and is also not granting permission to him to appear before higher officers on his request made through proper channel for redressal of his grievance. Upon notice, learned State counsel on instructions from Mr.Jaspal Singh,PPS, DSP Control Room, Ferozepur and HC Devi Lal, Incharge Civil Suit, Ferozepur points out that claim of unblemished record is false and unfounded as also the prejudice by the present SSP against the present petitioner. She further submits that the petitioner has not obeyed the Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2016.10.

CWP 21783/2016 transfer order to the Police Lines, and is promoting insubordination. However, she has no objection to the petitioner approaching the higher authorities for redressal of his grievance.

In view of the stand of the learned State counsel, it is agreed that the petition can be disposed of with permission to petitioner to approach the higher officers for redressal of his grievance in accordance with law.

In view of the above,dismissed as infructuous with aforesaid liberty.
