RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) The prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of direction to the respondents to conduct proper and fair investigation from some senior Independent Officer in case FIR No.179, dated 09.07.2021, under Section 376 IPC and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, registered at Police Station Beas, District Amritsar (Rural).

Issue notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.A.S.Gill, Sr.Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. In view of the request made in the petition, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. the Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural), to look into the representation, dated 07.09.2021, Annexure P-3, and decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law and preferably within one month from today.
