(The aforesaid presence is being recorded through video conferencing since the proceedings are being conducted in virtual court) Instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents as due to matrimonial dispute between petitioner No.1 and respondent No.4, private respondents have tried to take away the minor male child-petitioner No.2 forcibly. Notice of motion.

Mr. Anmol Malik, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a representation dated 15.09.2021 (P-2) was made to the Superintendent of Police, Sirsa, seeking necessary protection but no action has been taken so far in the matter and prays for issuance of direction in this SONIKA 2021.09.22 15:20 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he would be satisfied, if direction is issued to the respondents to decide representation (Annexure P-2) moved by the petitioners, in a time-bound manner.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with the directions to respondent No.2Superintendent of Police, Sirsa, District Sirsa (Haryana) to look into the grievances of the petitioners as set out in the petition and also expressed in the representation (Annexure P-2) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Registry is directed to send a copy of this order along with copy of the petition and above-said representation to respondent No.2Superintendent of Police, Sirsa, District Sirsa (Haryana) for requisite compliance.
