Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Gurpreet Kaur, has pointed out that the petitioner has not even applied for bail. Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition at this stage with liberty to file afresh, if the cause of action so ensues.

Permission is granted. The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
