(Oral) This petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the payment of Rs.10,72,238/- along with interest @12% per annum, qua the work, which was allotted to the petitioner. The petitioner was allotted the work, the details of which have been mentioned in para No.2 of the petition. The petitioner has completed the said work, but the above said amount has not been released to him till date. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation dated 24.01.2018 (Annexure P-2), but no action has been taken thereon till date. In view of the above position, this petition, at this stage is being disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, by giving a direction to respondent No.

4 to look in to the representation dated 24.01.2018 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner and decide the same in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt Gaurav Arora 2018.07.

CWP No. 16574-2018 -2of certified copy of this order. If respondent No. 4 come to a conclusion that the petitioner is entitled to the amount mentioned above, the same be released forthwith.
