HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Prayer is for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.331 dated 01.10.2017 under Section 22 of NDPS Act registered at P.S Sadar, Nakodar, District Jalandhar Rural.

As per allegations in the FIR, 250 grams intoxicant powder containing Alprazolam salt was recovered from the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the recovery was not effected from the petitioner and that he is in custody since 01.10.2017 i.e almost three and half years.

Opposing the petition, learned State counsel submits that the alleged recovery falls under the commercial category and that out of 12, nine prosecution witnesses have already been examined.
