(ORAL) Through the instant petition filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (For short "BNSS"), the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.62 dated 19.03.2025 under Sections 109, 118(1), 115(2), 351(1), 126(2), 191(3), 190 of the BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur. 2.

On 27.05.2025, following order had been passed: - "Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.62 dated 19.03.2025 under Sections 109, 118(1), 115(2), 351(1), 126(2), 191(3), 190 of the BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that although the petitioner has been named in the FIR in question, however, even as per the case of the complainant, the petitioner was just standing along with 6/7 unknown persons besides the firni and was unarmed. He submits that a further perusal of the MOHIT 2025.09.04 17:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-29846-2025 FIR annexed as Annexure P-1 reveals that no injury, much less even simple has been attributed to the petitioner. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. H.S. Deol, Sr. DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and seeks time to get necessary instructions.

Adjourned to 03.09.2025.

Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and appear before the investigating agency as and when called upon to do so. In the event of his arrest, he shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 27.05.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Jaspal Chand, has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for further investigation. 4.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the interim order dated 27.05.2025 is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
