Today, at the very outset, learned State counsel informed that all the PWs have already been examined and the matter is now fixed before the Trial Court for recording defence evidence.

Having regard to the aforestated position, wherein the trial is virtually at its fag end, this Court does not deem it appropriate to release the petitioner on bail in view of serious offences alleged to have been committed. 3.
