At this stage, Mr. Aayush Gupta, Advocate has accepted notice on behalf of respondent No.1. In connected writ petitions No.21760 of 2015 and 21825 of 2015, notice of motion was issued and following order was passed by this Court on 13.10.2015:- "Grievance of the petitioners is that similarly situated persons have been given option for consideration of their candidature in the open (general) category for appointment in the Bank whereas, such an opportunity has been denied to them. It is submitted that

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that petitioners do not want to pursue their claim with regard to letter dated 14.08.2015 (Annexure P-5).
Learned counsel for respondent No.1 has submitted that the case of the petitioners for appointment was considered under General category candidates and they have not made it successfully for appointment with the Bank in General category.
In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for respondent No.1, this petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of accordingly.
