The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 15.03.2023 passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP-5119-2023.

Vide order dated 15.03.2023, the following direction was issued by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP-5119-2023:- Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner in the present petition, respondents-Competent Authority is directed to consider and decide the claim made in the legal notice dated 20.09.2022 (Annexure P-3), in terms of the order passed in CWP-11081-2015 Simarjit Singh Vs. SAHIL 2025.08.13 09:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. and another in accordance with

COCP-1985-2023 (O&M)  law, by passing a speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. In case, the petitioner is found entitled, his claim be released within a period of six weeks thereafter."

Learned counsel for the respondent-PSPCL submits that in compliance of order dated 15.03.2023, legal notice dated 20.09.2022 is decided by passing a speaking order dated 02.11.2023 by Additional SE/OP, PSPCL, City Division, Tarn Taran. This fact is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. The copy of the order dated 02.11.2023 is taken on record and a copy thereof, has also been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.

In view of the above, the contempt is purged and rule is discharged. 5.
