(Oral) The petitioner has sought the following relief:- "Civil Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of an appropriate Writ, Order or direction in the nature of Mandamus for the issuance of direction to the respondents to issue the Passport to the petitioner after renewal, as the petitioner has applied vide Application dated 04.06.2014 (Annexure P-2).

Or any other writ, order or direction, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Instead of pondering upon the merits, demerits of the matter and without issuing notice of motion to other side, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.2 to Savita 2017.02.06 10:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh
