(Oral) Learned State counsel on instructions from Surinder Pal Singh, Senior Assistant, O/o Secretary (Revenue), Chandigarh, submits that the impugned order dated 25.05.2018, annexure P-8, wherein direction was issued to Commissioner, Patiala Division, Patiala-respondent No.4 to prepare a common seniority list of Kanungos of Districts Roopnagar, SAS Nagar (Mohali) and Patiala Division, has since been withdrawn. Thus, the promotions, if any, would be made as per the individual seniority list of each division i.e. Roopnagar, SAS Nagar and Patiala. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, cause of action espoused in the present petition has been rendered infructuous.
