The basic prayer made by the petitioners in this petition is for quashing of the FIR No.625 dated 21.10.2016, registered under Sections 498A, 323, 406, 506/34 IPC at Police Station Palam Vihar, Gurgaon, in which challan has already been submitted to the Illaqua Magistrate on 23.11.2016. After hearing petitioner no.1, I am of the considered opinion that the petitioners have a remedy of filing a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of the aforesaid FIR and the challan but the extraordinary writ jurisdiction of this Court cannot be invoked therefor. Consequently, the present petition is hereby dismissed being not maintainable.
