PARAMJEET SINGH, J. (ORAL) Instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to reimburse the medical bills relating to the treatment of mother of the petitioner.

Heard.

Reply by way of affidavit of Arvinder Singh Sohal, Executive Engineer, Bist Doab Division, Jalandhar, has been filed on behalf of the respondents. It is stated in para 7 of the affidavit that Civil Surgeon, Jalandhar, has sanctioned the amount of `25,615/- and same has already been paid to the petitioner.

In view of above, present writ petition has become infructuous. Dismissed as infructuous.
