  The petitioner has sought a direction for quashing of order dated 08.12.2015 (Annexure P)12), whereby his application for promotion to the post of Assistant w.e.f. 08.03.2013 has been rejected. A perusal of the order dated 08.12.2015 (Annexure P)12) reveals that the application has been rejected as it does not bear the signature of the petitioner. In pursuance to the previous order of this Court, Dr. Saket Kumar, Director General Technical Education Department has appeared in Court and produced the original application as received by the respondents. This application does not bear the signature of the applicant/petitioner and is in fact unsigned.    55 the application through proper channel i.e. the Principal Polytechnic Education Society, Lisana, who had forwarded the same to the Director General Technical Education Department.

Be that as it may. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application within a period of one month and respondent No. 2 shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
