The learned counsel for the petitioner submits, that he has the instructions to withdraw the instant writ petition, in case a mandamus is made upon the respondents concerned, to within the ambit of Rule 12(4) of Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Rules, 1964, consider the petitioner's claim for sale of the petition land to the petitioner herein. 2.
The above made prayer is accepted.

Accordingly, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 4.
However, if the apposite application for the relevant purpose is instituted within a week, before the Gram Panchayat concerned, thereupon, the Gram Panchayat concerned, may, in accordance with law, consider to make a resolution for the afore purpose, and, if the said resolution is passed by the Gram Panchayat concerned, thereupon the latter shall forthwith forward it to the processing agency concerned, who shall on receiving the same, shall make lawful orders thereons within two months, from the receipt GURPREET SINGH 2023.04.12 14:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgement of the said resolution.

Till a decision, upon the resolution of the Gram Panchayat concerned, is made by the competent authority, thereupto the parties are directed to maintain status quo with respect to the petition land. 6.
