RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to transfer the investigation in case FIR No.0092, dated 17.08.2019, under Section 452, 323, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Khilchain, District Amritsar Rural as well as in Cross case registered vide GD No.38, dated 04.09.2019, under Sections 326, 323, 354, 148, 149 IPC, registered at Police Station Khilchian, District Amritsar Rural, from the current investigating team to some SIT. It is further requested that directions be issued to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner so that petitioner and her family members may not be involved in any other false case with a further prayer for issuance of direction to respondent No.

2 to look into and decide the representation dated 28.02.2022, Annexure P/9. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if her representation, dated 03.02.2022, Annexure P/9, is decided in a time-bound manner. A perusal of the same shows that it was MEENU 2022.08.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.Amitoj Singh Dhaliwal, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents.

In view of the abovesaid facts, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. Commissioner of Police, Amirtsar Rural, District Amritsar, to decide the representation (if any filed by the petitioner within a period of ten days from today) in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and preferably within one month from the date of filing of the same.
