(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a declaration that the impugned notification is lapsed in terms of Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

We find that pursuant to the directions earlier issued by this Court, the petitioner's claim was decided by a Committee of some officials known as 'Zonal Committee', by way of an order against which the petitioner represented and now he has been afforded personal hearing by that Committee. The final decision is yet to be taken by the Committee. In this view of the matter, we dismiss this writ petition as premature with a direction to the Zonal Committee to dispose of the petitioner's claim within a period of one month from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.

Ordered accordingly.
