**** JAGMOHAN BANSAL , J. (Oral) The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking directions to pay interest @ 6% on arrears of pay and allowances.

The respondents in its reply has raised preliminary objection qua jurisdiction of this Court. The respondents have submitted that no part of cause of action has arisen within jurisdiction of this Court, thus, this Court has no jurisdiction to entertain the present petition. On being confronted with aforesaid fact, Mr. Malik, Advocate seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail appropriate remedy as permissible by law.
