Prayer made in the present petition for quashing the impugned order dated 11.10.2013 whereby the claim of the petitioners for granting them promotional avenues or in the alternative treating them eligible for admission in Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician, might not, due to efflux of time, even be surviving.

Learned State counsel makes a reference to para 3 of the reply on merits dated 21.10.2015, wherein it has been specifically stated that as per the provisions of Punjab Health and Family Welfare Technical (Group-C) Service Rules, 2007, there are sanctioned posts of Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) which were earlier known as Basic Health Worker (Male) and the same are filled up 100% by way of direct recruitment. To the above facts, there was no rebuttal by filing any replication. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of, reserving the petitioners with a liberty to get it revived, in case lis still survives.
