This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for the release of the alleged detenue, namely, Pawandeep Kaur, who is stated to be illegally detained by respondents No.4 to 7.

Learned State counsel has filed reply by way of an affidavit of Mr. Bachan Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Sri Muktsar Sahib in Court, which is taken on record. 4.

In pursuance to the order dated 21.05.2026, the alleged detenue, Pawandeep Kaur, appeared before this Court and stated that she is major and SONIA GUGNANI 2026.05.29 17.12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the detenue who is a major, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition and the same is hereby disposed of.
