The only prayer made by the petitioner in the present petition is that the application filed by him under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 has not been decided by Land Acquisition Collector, Karnal (for short, 'the Collector'), though it was received in his office on 22.12.2015, as the acknowledgment is evident on the application itself. Learned counsel for the State submitted that in case the application has been received in the office of the Collector, the same shall be dealt with in accordance with law and decided within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
